Around 82 thousand Lebanese expatriates are registered to vote in their countries of residence, in the first Lebanese elections to allow voting abroad. The first day of these elections is Friday in 6 Arab states.
However, a number of expatriates returned to Lebanon on the eve of these elections and will not participate in the elections.
