While Lebanon in general awaits the formation of the cabinet, the parliamentary sub-committees, once completed, have also been waiting for the government to see the light in order to kick off the legislative work.
The minister concerned with certain committee will have to attend said committee’s meetings to discuss the matters at hand.
The sub-committees are used to convene under a caretaker cabinet, and nothing prevents such meetings, especially when incomplete draft laws are being discussed.
