Litani River pollution: Water turns black or green

The water of the Litani River is used by 42 towns in the districts of Marjeyoun and Bint Jbeil.

 

The southern basin of the river, like its northern one in Bekaa, suffers from pollution, even if it was in lesser levels, but it did not prevent the water from turning black and green.
