Thirty-five Syrian refugee families were supposed to leave Lebanon and head to the rural region of Damascus on Monday, after their departure was postponed from Sunday.
But their return did not take place, noting that these families had packed their bags and loaded them onto the trucks.
Sources close to the discussions said that the Syrian authorities gave a preliminary approval for the return of the group of 118 persons, but the Lebanese General Security suspended the procedure without informing them of the reason.
