Number of applications submitted to join security services shows decline in jobs in Lebanon

The number of applicants to join the security and military corps showed the extent of decline in job opportunities in Lebanon, leading the youth including those holding high university degrees, to apply for these corps.

The only wish of these applicants is for the authorities to choose based on competence and eligibility.

While the Internal Security Forces is recruiting 2,000 members for the rank of sergeant, 47 thousand applications were submitted, including 40 thousand Muslims and 7 thousand Christians. Those who pass the tests will be equally chosen.
