‘Strong Lebanon’ bloc MPs seek to provide citizens with 24/7 power supply

Given that the possibility of hindering the emergency plan for the electricity could remain, the deputies of “Strong Lebanon” bloc presented several proposals regarding means to provide 24/7 power supply to the citizens, based on the experience of Electricité de Zahle.

In this context, caretaker Energy Minister Cesar Abi Kahlil had a series of remarks, whereby he said that the possible way for this is to establish power generating stations with a 50-megawatt capability, but this can be faced with many difficulties, including the transportation of the fuel oil in tanks.
