The repercussions of traffic jams are not only limited to tension and delay, but they have even greater effects.

 

According to the World Bank, “various studies assessing the macroeconomic impacts and externalities put the economic cost of traffic congestion in the GBA between 5 percent and 10 percent of Lebanon’s GDP.”
