The miracles of the Lebanese Saint Charbel and the faith in Lebanon were the highlights of an article published by English-language magazine “The Economist”, which offers insight on international news, politics, business, finance and other topics.
In an article titled “St Charbel to the rescue - Miracles are on the rise in Lebanon”, accompanied by a picture of St. Charbel, the magazine recalled the healing of Nohad al-Shami from hemiplegia (paralysis of half of the body) at the hands of St. Charbel in 1993.
