In Lebanon, employees fail to abide by night shift hours, yet still get paid

Controlling the working hours at the state’s administration has been one of the goals of the anti-corruption campaign launched months ago by the Central Inspection across Lebanon.

While the inspectors have managed correct some issues, with every new tour, they unveil new scandals.

According to information made available to LBCI, some facilities require night shift to maintain the course of the work, but the inspectors discovered that a number of employees at power plants, airport, governmental hospitals and other institutions do not attend their shift, forcing the inspectors to issue warnings.
