MP Raad apologizes for MP al-Mousawi’s comments
MP Mohamad Raad apologized on Friday for the comments made by MP Nawaf al-Mousawi during Wednesday’s parliamentary session to discuss the policy statement.

“An undesired debate occurred between some fellow MPs and included rejected statements by one of our brothers in the bloc,” Raad said.

“The statements were the result of a personal reaction and exceeded the limits set for our usual language in the communication and expression of stances,” he added.

“I apologize to you and in the name of the Loyalty to Resistance bloc I ask for removing these statements from the minutes of meeting,” Raad added speaking to Speaker Nabih Berri.
