Nasrallah: Political cowardice deprived Lebanese people from 24/24 electricity
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah asserted on Saturday that "he is keen on avoiding political disputes."

Nasrallah’s comments were made during a televised speech whereby he said that "political discontent, obstinacy or cowardice deprived the Lebanese people in 2006 from 24/24 electricity when the Lebanese government refused Iranian assistance in the electricity file."

He also noted that Hezbollah is serious in addressing corruption and the waste of public funds.

“We prepared our files to go into this battle and we must protect the money of the Lebanese people,” he added.

On another note, Nasrallah stressed that “Iran is stronger than to be targeted in a war.”

“The bet is always on imposing sanctions,” he added.

Hezbollah chief also noted that US statements about the presence of the party’s cells in Venezuela or in South America are untrue.
