Israel says reveals Hezbollah unit in Syria’s Golan

The Israeli army said on Wednesday that it revealed a unit established by Hezbollah in the Syrian Golan Heights "that has greater capabilities than before to act against Israel."

The army added that the unit is led by Hezbollah commander Ali Musa Daqdouq who was jailed in Iraq for his involvement in an attack on US forces.

 

An Israeli army spokesman said that the Syrian regime will be held responsible for anything that happens inside Syria that targets Israel, adding that Hezbollah will not be allowed to build an infrastructure in the Golan capable of hitting Israel.
