PM Hariri: I fear that what happened in Greece happens here

Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed on Wednesday on the need to take hard decisions concerning the state’s Budget.

 

“I work with the majority of the political parties so we can have a full consensus on the budget,” he added after meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri.

“I fear that what happened to Greece happens here, and this must not take place,” he added.

 

He also stressed that procedures will be taken in order to save the country from economic problems.

 

Hariri also noted that the economic and financial interest of the country must be put first in order to achieve a growth in the economy.
