Cabinet convenes to discuss Budget

Prime Minister Saad Hariri presided on Monday a Cabinet session at the Grand serial to continue discussions of the Budget bill.

 

Following the session, Information Minister Jamal al-Jarrah said that tomorrow’s session may be the last one, reiterating that there will be not salaries cuts.

He also noted that the Cabinet discussed the salaries of ministers and MPs, adding that a decision will be taken in this regard tomorrow.

Before the session, Minister of Defense Elias Bou Saab said that Measure No. 3 will not be tackled during the session.

For his part, Minister of Labor Kamil Abou Sleiman said that the Lebanese Forces party requested to be handed out the final figures of the Budget and to be given 24 hours to study them.
