According to economic expert Ghazy Wazneh, the new budget will see a deduction of 3% from the retired servicemen’s salaries as a medical allowance, in addition to a revenue tax.
The retired servicemen said that they will continue their movements, refusing any measure affecting their salaries and pensions, while the cabinet insists that the deductions will reach all employees in various sectors, not only the military institutions, and that everyone should contribute to saving the economic situation.
