In an exclusive interview with LBCI, French Ambassador to Lebanon Bernard Foucher said that Lebanon’s budget draft law is satisfying and represents an interesting step forward, “because it managed to reduce the deficit to 7.59%, exceeding the Cedre expectations of reducing it to 9%.”
Foucher also praised the measures taken to reduce the expenses and increase the revenues.
However, the execution of the budget remains to be seen, as he said.
