Michele Hajal passes away

Michèle Hajal, a clinical dietitian who was elected as a third runner-up in the Miss Lebanon pageant 2016, passed away after a long battle with illness.

 

Hajal has been fighting Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and brought people together within a campaign titled #FightWithMichele to collect donations for her curative treatment in the United States.

 

She was then diagnosed cancer free, but her health later drastically deteriorated.
