Tripoli mayor and deputy mayor receive no confidence votes from municipal council

Tripoli Mayor Ahmad Qamareddine and deputy mayor Khaled al-Wali received on Tuesday votes of no confidence from the Tripoli Municipal Council.

 

The council members voted in a meeting held in the presence of North Lebanon Governor Ramzi Nohra.

 

After the results were announced, the meeting to elect new mayor and deputy mayor failed to completed due to a dispute and exchange of accusation between the council members and most of them left the meeting.
