Jreissati: State will shoulder responsibility concerning garbage crisis in Dahieh and north Lebanon

Minister of Environment Fadi Jreissati said on Tuesday that the Lebanese state will shoulder its responsibilities concerning the garbage crisis in north Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs of Dahieh.

 

Jreissati’s comments were made following the meeting for the ministerial committee entrusted with studying the garbage crisis whereby he noted that another meeting will be held tomorrow with the Southern Suburbs Municipalities Federation.

 

“We do not have magical solutions and we have to bear each other or we will not reach a solution.” He concluded by saying.
