Unemployment rate in Lebanon reaches alarming level

There are no official figures that show the unemployment's rate in Lebanon.

However, figures issued by institutions and organizations show a catastrophic rate: 36% at the end of 2018, and exceeding 46% in Akkar and Baalbek-Hermel.

The figures are also expected to increase next year.
