Bou Saab: Israeli drones main mission was to attack Beirut city
Minister of Defense Elias Bou Saab said on Thursday that 480 Israeli violations for resolution No. 1701 took place during the last two months , adding that the two drones attack is the most dangerous violation since July 2006 war.

Bou Saab’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he presented the results of the investigation conducted by the Lebanese army regarding the Israeli drones attack that targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs.

The minister stressed that the Israeli drones used during the attack are sophisticated military equipment aiming at attacking the city of Beirut.

Bou Saab also noted that Lebanon is now in the “self-defense mode,” adding that it is a legitimate right according to the government's ministerial statement.

The minister concluded by saying that there is no link between the two drones and the case of the Israeli agent Amer al-Fakhouri.
