Kurds protest Turkey’s offensive into Syria

Hundreds of Kurds held a sit-in on Sunday in the Beirut’s Martyr’s Square to express their rejection to the Turkish attack on northwast Syria that killed civilians.

 

Protesters dubbed Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan a “terrorist,” and called on the International community to condemn the offensive and “to put pressure on Turkey to end it as soon as possible.”

 

They reiterated calls to stand beside the Kurds in Syria.
