The public opinion continues to be preoccupied with the case of Nissan ex-boss Carlos Ghosn’s escape from Japan to Lebanon.
An account specialized with monitoring the activity of planes posted a video on YouTube recorded from “Flight Radar” website that tracks real-time commercial aircraft flight information on a map, including includes flight tracks, origins and destinations, flight numbers, aircraft types, positions, altitudes, headings and speeds.
The video tracks the course of two private jets, one “Bombardier Global Express” leaving Japan’s Osaka airport towards Istanbul airport and another “Bombardier Challenger 300” leaving Turkey and landing in Beirut on December 29.
Based on the course of these jets, the account estimated that these two jets could have transported Ghosn to Lebanon.
As for the available legal choices in this case, handing over Ghosn to Japan cannot happen due to the lack of an agreement between the two countries in this regard.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg magazine cited a Japanese government official as saying that the Japanese government seeks to open a diplomatic dialogue with Lebanon concerning Carlos Ghosn.
