Hitti and his Greek counterpart hold joint press conference

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nassif Hitti held on Wednesday a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart.

 

During the press conference, Hitti that talks focused on the economic cooperation between the two countries amid the difficult phase that Lebanon is going through.

 

"We listened to Greece's experience in this regard and how they overcame the crisis," he added.

 

 “We discussed the strengthening of the tourism sector and we will do everything we can to support the sectors and preserve jobs, we also discussed the issue of oil," Hitti stressed.

 

For his part, the Greek Foreign Minister said that the "trilateral cooperation between Greece, Lebanon and Cyprus has positive results,” he added.

 

 “We also agreed to explore ways to deepen economic relations, and we expressed our support for the economic agenda of the Lebanese government,” he concluded by saying.
