Judge Mazeh issues decree preventing media outlets from hosting US Ambassador
The Judge of Urgent Matters in Tyre, Mohammad Mazeh, has issued a decree to "prohibit any Lebanese or foreign media outlet operating on Lebanese soil, whether audiovisual, written or electronic, from conducting any interview with the American Ambassador (Dorothy Shea) for a period of one year, under the penalty of stopping the media outlet concerned for a similar period, in the event of non-compliance with this decision, and under the penalty of obliging the media outlet to pay the amount of two hundred thousand dollars as a coercive fine due to failure to abide by the provisions of said decree.”
