Head of Doctors Syndicate Charaf Abou Charaf said on Sunday that the country is in a very dangerous situation.
"If citizens do not abide by the imposed procedures, and if the state does not take the decision to impose a total lockdown our situation will become almost hopeless." Abou Charaf told LBCI.
On another note, he stressed that 70% of private hospitals are now ready to receive Coronavirus patients, urging those who have not been prepared to work on it.
Abou Charaf concluded by pointing out that despite the work of governmental hospitals, the occupancy rate in some of them is very small despite the money that was paid to them.
