Expected increase in food prices as lifting subsidies nears-[REPORT]

The Central Bank of Lebanon decided to lift subsidies on sugar which is among the essential ingredients of bread.

It is true that the decision was not officially issued, but the Economy Ministry was informed about it and the the reason is that the bank has reached the edge of its mandatory reserves.
