REPORT: Hariri calls Aoun, says will attend Independence Day parade

President Michel Aoun received on Saturday a phone call from Prime Minister Saad Hariri after he arrives to Paris with his wife.

Hariri told Aoun that he will come to Lebanon to participate in the Independence Day military parade.

This as Speaker Nabih Berri received also a phone call from Hariri who told him also that he will attend the said parade.

 

Hariri also called Grand Mufti Abdel Latif Derian  after arriving to Paris.

 

For his part, MP Walid Jumblatt said that he called Hariri.

 

Meanwhile,sources told LBCI that a phone call was held between Aoun and Berri to discuss the latest developments after Hariri's arrival to Paris.

Earlier, Hariri, who resigned as prime minister this month while in Saudi Arabia, arrived in Paris for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.
