REPORT: Patriarch Rai in Qatar for a four-day official visit

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai arrived on Thursday to Qatar in a four-day official visit.

“We thank Qatar for granting a land to build the Saint Charbel Church,” Rai said upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation to Doha’s airport.

“We are proud of the Lebanese diaspora wherever it is,” Rai added.

For his part, Minister Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari said that the Lebanese diaspora in Qatar played a role in Qatar’s renaissance.
