Rouhani to Aoun: Lebanon stands on the forefront in addressing the Zionist entity

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated on Sunday President Michel Aoun on the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day.

 

In a letter sent to Aoun, Rouhani said that Lebanon stands on the forefront in addressing the Zionist entity, praising the “Golden trio” that is the government-army-resistance.

 

Rouhan reiterated Iran’s support to the stability and calm in the Lebanese Republic, wishing more prosperity for the Lebanese people.

 

The Resistance and Liberation Day is a Lebanese holiday celebrated on May 25 marking the Israeli army’s withdrawal from territory in Southern Lebanon.
