Saudi Arabia executes Lebanese man convicted of attempting to smuggle drugs

Saudi authorities executed in the region of Tabuk, a Saudi man convicted of murdering another Saudi citizen by dousing him with fuel and setting him on fire following a quarrel between them, and a Lebanese man convicted of attempting to smuggle a quantity of Captagon pills.

The family of the Lebanese man was informed of the news of his execution. He used to work as a truck driver, transporting goods across Arab states; he was arrested three years ago by Saudi authorities when crossing into Saudi Arabia, where he was found in possession of drug pills stashed inside the truck.
