UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs comments on Nasrallah’s speech
The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash commented on Wednesday on the speech delivered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah he delivered on Tuesday night.

In a tweet, Gargash said that Nasrallah’s speech, with all the “attacks that it carries on Saudi Arabia and Hezbollah’s work on behalf of Iran is a new example of the failure of the dissociation policy that the official sides in Lebanon have been expressing but not committing to it.”

“We express hopes again that the official Lebanese statements won’t go with the wind,” he added.

On Tuesday night, Nasrallah delivered a televised speech during a ceremony marking the 12th anniversary of July 2006.

In his speech, he criticized Saudi Arabia saying that it is interfering in Syria, Iraq and in the Lebanese affairs in details, pointing out that “one day, it detained Lebanon’s prime minister, while it rejects Canada’s intervention.”

Last week, Saudi Arabia, UAE's ally, was angered by a demand made by Canada that jailed activists in the kingdom to be freed instantly, expelled the Canadian ambassador, blocked imports from Canada and ended educational, medical and other programs in Canada.
