White House national security adviser John Bolton met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, with Iran the focus of talks.
Bolton said that “it is a question of highest importance for the US that Iran never get a deliverable nuclear weapons capability,” noting that this is reason that led President Donald Trump to withdraw from the nuclear deal.
In turn, Netanyahu stated that “Israel applauds Trump’s administration determination to reimpose tough sanctions on Iran and those doing business with Iran.”
