The Israeli occupation authorities have escalated their restrictions on the Christians of Gaza, banning them from going to Jerusalem to celebrate Easter and attend prayer at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, tightening the Israeli siege.
More than 800 Christian Gazans submitted requests to obtain entry permits before the holiday, but all applications were rejected by Israel, while only 200 permits were granted to Jordanians who are over 50 years old.
