Speaker Berri to IMF delegation: Lebanon is keen on committing to reforms

Speaker Nabih Berri met on Sunday with an International Monetary Fund’s delegation in Ain el-Tineh.

The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Ghazi Wazni and Berri’s advisor Ali Hamdan with talks reportedly tackling the economic and financial situation of the country.

During the meeting, Berri stressed to the IMF’s delegation Lebanon’s keenness to commit to the required radical reforms on all levels, and that to ensure the success of the rescue operation and to restore confidence in Lebanon."
