Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed on Sunday during a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart Abdallah bin Zayed, bilateral, regional and international issues.
According to an Iranian Foreign Ministry statement, Abdollahian emphasized that his country prioritizes its neighbors in foreign policy, calling for more bilateral meetings and consultations between officials from the two countries.
He also believed that such actions pave the way for the expansion and development of their relationships.
The presence of "the occupying Zionist entity in the region destabilizes its security and causes assassination and sabotage throughout the region," according to the Iranian official.
