Israeli army announces closure of area near Lebanese border to civilians

The Israeli army ordered on Sunday the immediate evacuation of civilians from an area near the Lebanese border after one person was killed in a rocket attack on one of the border towns.

The army stated, "Following an assessment of the situation and the recent gunfire incident in northern Israel, an area four kilometers long from the northern border with Lebanon has been closed."
