Mikati to Al-Joumhouria: Lebanon relies on friendly countries' efforts to restore calm in the south

Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressed his hope for the continuation of the ceasefire in Gaza "to keep Lebanon safe and calm" during a visit to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul.

In an interview with "Al-Joumhouria" newspaper, Mikati emphasized Lebanon's reliance on friendly countries' efforts to work towards peace and restore calm in southern Lebanon.
