Macron arrives in Israel to express France's support after Hamas attack

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Tel Aviv on Tuesday to express "France's full solidarity" with Israel following the attack carried out by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which resulted in the deaths of more than 1,400 people on October 7, as reported by a journalist from AFP.

The French President is expected to call for "the protection of civilian lives" in Gaza while Israel conducts extensive airstrikes in response to the attack, with the declared aim of "destroying" Hamas, according to the Élysée Palace.
