Macron Announces Aid Mission To Gaza Amid Regional Tensions

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the country will send one of its navy ships to the eastern Mediterranean to 'support hospitals' in Gaza. 
He clarified that an aircraft carrying medical supplies dedicated to the strip will also arrive in Egypt on Thursday.

Following talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Macron stated that the ship 'will sail from Toulon in the next forty-eight hours,' adding that 'a French plane will land tomorrow in (Egypt) to deliver medical supplies.
