Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan’s press office on Tuesday said that the minister had lodged a complaint, with the General Prosecutor's Office of Cassation, against the directors of several public hospitals “over their procrastination equipping Covid-19 departments, especially intensive care beds, despite the financial contributions that have been made available to them for more than three months, let alone the equipment provided thanks to the World Bank loan.”
The minister called for swift action to be taken against these directors, “who exposed people's lives to danger amid a rampantly spreading pandemic.”
