Two armed assailants robbed al-Baraka bank in the region of Cola, as they stole an estimated amount of USD 70 thousand, in both Lebanese and foreign currencies.
In the details, the two robbers arrived on board a motorcycle and entered the bank branch wearing helmets. One of them opened fire towards the ceiling while the other threatened the people telling them not to move. They urged the employees to collect the cash in a bag before they escaped.
The surveillance cameras inside the bank allowed the security forces to determine the appearance of the thieves and the destination in which they headed.
The security forces circulated their descriptions, as well as the registration late number and photo of the motorcycle across the ISF patrols in Beirut and southern suburbs in a bid to arrest them.
