After Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation from Riyadh, France was the first state to start acting in favor of Hariri’s return from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon to sort the issue.
A series of diplomatic movements between French and Lebanese officials further stressed France’s position supporting Lebanon’s stability and Hariri’s freedom.
