Erdogan says Turkey will soon begin land operation in Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Tuesday that Turkey will "soon" begin a land operation in Syria against Kurdish fighters, after air strikes launched by Ankara in northern Syria.

"We flew over the terrorists for a few days with our planes, artillery and drones... God willing, we will uproot them all soon with tanks, artillery and soldiers," Erdogan said in a televised speech.
