PM Mikati: I would like to assure my government's commitment to honoring commitments to reform
Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Saturday that the call that took place between him and French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is “an important step towards reviving the historical brotherly relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

“I would like to especially thank President Macron and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their keenness on maintaining the friendship towards Lebanon and I would like to assure my government's commitment to honoring its commitments to reform,” Mikati said in a tweet.

Earlier in the day, Macron tweeted that he had “a frank and meaningful discussion with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about their political priorities: the security and stability of the region, with priority given to Lebanon. “

“We then had a phone call with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, during which commitments were exchanged," Macron added.
