The newly-elected president of the Economic and Social Council Charles Arbid said Monday that “whoever takes this position has to come up with projects to be implemented and invested by the council.”
Following his election, he stressed his determination of overcoming economic challenges and threats, noting that this would not be a reality if he did not believe in team work.
Arbid said that this council is the link between the state and the society, expressing gratitude for President Michel Aoun who initiated, Speaker Nabih Berri who supported and Prime Minister Saad Hariri who planned and achieved.
