Banque Du Liban Governor Riyad Salemeh said on Friday that Lebanon’s economy has garnered the trust of people after the political crisis that the country went through during the past month.
Salemeh’s comments were made during an interview with the French Press Agency whereby he noted that “the liquidity to finance the economy is still available because we maintained a monetary stability during the crisis.”
“I also believe that, after the crisis, the people will put more trust in the economy,” Salemeh concluded by saying.
