On Wednesday January 23, 2019, the fuel prices in Lebanon registered a new increase after consecutive weeks of price drop. In this context, the price of 95 and 98 octane gasoline increased 200 LBP, while that diesel oil increased 300 LBP and that of gas 100 LBP.
The table issued by Ministry of Energy and Water set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 21,900 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 22,500 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 16,200 LBP
- Gas canister: 13,000 LBP
