The French Embassy in Lebanon condemned “the horrible attack” that targeted the northern city of Tripoli and that killed four soldiers of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the embassy expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, as well as to the Lebanese authorities and the Lebanese people, stressing that France stands by Lebanon in the anti-terrorism battle and praises praised "the commitment of the Lebanese security apparatuses in this fight.
