MP Nadim Gemayel stressed Saturday that Lebanon cannot kneel before Hezbollah, noting that the time has come to stand united against illegal weapons and the attempt to occupy Lebanon again.
During a ceremony held to commemorate the 37th anniversary of Bashir Gemayel’s assassination, the deputy pointed out that “there is party that receives its orders from outside Lebanon, has non-Lebanese goals and is attempting to impose foreign choices on Lebanon,” explaining that the government fails to take action.
Gemayel stated that “if we do not unite, we will not be taken seriously.”
“We must end this state that fails to stand on its feet,” he said, calling on the officials to assume their responsibilities before it’s too late.
